Hi again.
Just wanted to post this pfoto here as a momento of 40th dinner.

SSGT Kok Swee should really tuck out his shirt.
Even Peter did that night, which is a miracle. :)

Wanted to take a full Dactyl photo that night with every single senior inside but didn't get the chance to.
Sigh.............. :(

Went for squad outing today at vivien's house.
It was pretty awesome. :)
We ate some snacks then went to watch The Pacifier.
The peter panda dance is so lame. :)
After that we watched the squad video(which can be viewed from squad blog), and played around a bit while waiting for the other std 4s to arrive.
The 2nd movie we watched was Van Helsing.
OMG, it was one of the freakiest movies I have ever seen!
Plot: Van Helsing is a wanted man all across Europe. But in actuality, Van Helsing works as a secret agent of The Vatican, dispatching monsters. He is sent to Transylvania to deal with a threat he has never encountered before – vampires, led by Count Dracula. Teaming up with the Gypsy princess Anna Valerious, Van Helsing combats Dracula and his vampire brides. At the same time they must also deal with Anna’s brother Velkan who has become a werewolf. They also encounter the Frankenstein monster and discover that it is wanted by Dracula to complete an essential process begun by Viktor Frankenstein that will bring Dracula’s offspring to life.
In the end, Dracula died and Anna and her family finally went to heaven.

At Vivien's gate, I was torn between walking with my squadmates and walking with Sir Jason, SSGTs Candice, Kok Swee and Xun Lin.
I chose to walk with the std 4s because their way was shorter.
I had to try very hard to keep myself from laughing at the stuff they said. :D
They're very bonded, actually.
All of us, except SSGT Xun Lin, took bus no. 12.
Bus ride home was quite boring except for when SSGT Candice and I talked.
All of them got off after me.

P.S. I want to watch Twilight! Almost everybody says it sucks but I still want to see it anyway. :)

We had camp prep today near Katong CC.
It was meant to be at the new campus but apparently there were teachers there who said that no activities can be held at the new campus yet so...

First, we took a long time to come up with a group name.
In the middle of doing that, we saw a fire in the dumpster!
Some idiot must have felt bored so he/she set the garbage on fire.
But luckily the SCDF showed up and put out the fire.

After that we designed the flag and nametags.
It looked and sounded nice in the draft but not sure what the outcome will look like. :)

Then we went to the 'field' beside the school to pick leaves and twigs.
Well, mostly twigs.
The tall grass and plants were so damn irritating and kept scratching against our legs.
luckily we collected them just before it rained, but the other groups didn't! Lol. :D

We ate lunch at a KFC near there which had free flow of drinks.
When we entered, the other groups were already there.
SGT Jansen and SGT Jade kept asking us about our group name and designs and they didn't know what they meant.
When my group members went for refills, I asked for milo but they didn't have any so peter asked if I wanted some of his 'concoction'.
It was a mixture of Pepsi, 7-up and Mountain Dew.
It tasted disgusting!
But not as disgusting as his next mixture, which consisted of all the drinks!
I drank 2 cups of the stuff and got a stomachache.
So, I refilled his cup with a concoction of my own.
I even added rootbeer, even though he hated it.
He actualy drank the whole cup!
Amazing.
And totally disgusting!

Speaking of disgusting, SGT Shiyi said that there was a tradition of Dunman High.
When they finishing eating at fast food restaurants, they will mix all the leftover sauces and drinks!
She said that there was one time when they got a guy to drink their mixture and when they told him what was in it, he almost threw up! :D

After eating, we made up cheers.
Really ridiculous ones that included zebras kissing and cobras killing.
You'll get to hear it in camp!

That was one of the most memorable lunches ever.

Oh yes.
Me and SSGT Elaine were chatting yesterday about SJ and job-searching and stuff and then we compared results from quizzes.
Turns out we're a lot alike!
She's a grilled cheese sandwich(same) and her love element is Earth, which is same as mine.
The only difference is that I'm clam chowder and she's chicken noodle soup. :)
I'll try to stop doing so many love quizzes after this one.
Gonna post my clam chowder and sandwich results in the upcoming posts.

Ciao!

Yesterday, Qi Jin and I went to this talk at Chinese High about chinese schools.
Many principals from good schools were there e.g. Hwa Chong, St Nicholas.
The first presenter was a 69-year-old ex-principal from St Nicholas.
She got off to a good start and her talk was quite funny, especially the part where she said that people kept on mistaking the school for CHIJ, since they where neighbours last time.
Mr Sng looked very sian while the principal of Hwa Chong was talking. :)
He was the last presenter.
His talk got the most applause! :D
Actually qi jin was using my phone to record his talk but then it suddenly shut down for no reason so we lost the recording. Oh well...
He said he was driving in China when he saw this signboard with a picture of a champion sprinter and some english words on it.
It said "The person that matters is not who's in front, but who's inside."
Or something like that. It's a good sentence.

When we were leaving, we said hello to Mr Sng, who didn't recognise us cuz we weren't in school uniform.
We chatted a bit before he had to leave.

After that we went to cineleisure orchard to watch Beverly Hills Chihuahua.
Did you know iguanas are vegetarian?
Chloe(the main dog) didn't.
Anyway, I liked Delgado best, especially his voice!
And Diablo looked so funny in a pink dress. :D
It was a hilarious, yet touching movie.
Definitely worth seeing.
Spanish is such a nice language.
I'd like to learn it someday.

Reached home at almost 11 p.m.

Maybe I'll be watching Wild Child today.
It's about a rebellious pampered princess who's shipped off to a strict boarding school by her father.
I read Seventeen's interview with Emma Roberts, the main character in the movie.
She also starred in Nancy Drew the movie.
Her aunt is Julia Roberts and her father is oscar-nominated actor Eric Roberts.
What a pedigree!

Going to new campus tmr.
Can't wait to see what it looks like!
