We had camp prep today near Katong CC.
It was meant to be at the new campus but apparently there were teachers there who said that no activities can be held at the new campus yet so...
First, we took a long time to come up with a group name.
In the middle of doing that, we saw a fire in the dumpster!
Some idiot must have felt bored so he/she set the garbage on fire.
But luckily the SCDF showed up and put out the fire.
After that we designed the flag and nametags.
It looked and sounded nice in the draft but not sure what the outcome will look like. :)
Then we went to the 'field' beside the school to pick leaves and twigs.
Well, mostly twigs.
The tall grass and plants were so damn irritating and kept scratching against our legs.
luckily we collected them just before it rained, but the other groups didn't! Lol. :D
We ate lunch at a KFC near there which had free flow of drinks.
When we entered, the other groups were already there.
SGT Jansen and SGT Jade kept asking us about our group name and designs and they didn't know what they meant.
When my group members went for refills, I asked for milo but they didn't have any so peter asked if I wanted some of his 'concoction'.
It was a mixture of Pepsi, 7-up and Mountain Dew.
It tasted disgusting!
But not as disgusting as his next mixture, which consisted of all the drinks!
I drank 2 cups of the stuff and got a stomachache.
So, I refilled his cup with a concoction of my own.
I even added rootbeer, even though he hated it.
He actualy drank the whole cup!
Amazing.
And totally disgusting!
Speaking of disgusting, SGT Shiyi said that there was a tradition of Dunman High.
When they finishing eating at fast food restaurants, they will mix all the leftover sauces and drinks!
She said that there was one time when they got a guy to drink their mixture and when they told him what was in it, he almost threw up! :D
After eating, we made up cheers.
Really ridiculous ones that included zebras kissing and cobras killing.
You'll get to hear it in camp!
That was one of the most memorable lunches ever.
Oh yes.
Me and SSGT Elaine were chatting yesterday about SJ and job-searching and stuff and then we compared results from quizzes.
Turns out we're a lot alike!
She's a grilled cheese sandwich(same) and her love element is Earth, which is same as mine.
The only difference is that I'm clam chowder and she's chicken noodle soup. :)
I'll try to stop doing so many love quizzes after this one.
Gonna post my clam chowder and sandwich results in the upcoming posts.
Ciao!
